SUMMER IS ALMOST HERE!

As the 2012-2013 School year comes to a close I want to say thank you to our donors, volunteers, parents, and children.  We had over 200 children attend our After School programs at our five sites.  This year we were able to provide them with guitar lessons, chess lessons, homework help, and reading instruction.  In addition, in February we merged our Santa Fe Clubs with Boys and Girls Clubs of Del Norte.  The Boys and Girls Clubs of Del Norte consist of a Boys and Girls Club in Abiquiu and Chimayo.  By combining the two organizations into one, we will be able to reduce administrative costs and can use that savings for enhancing existing programs and implementing new ones.

Registration is now open for the Summer Recreation Program.  Our hours of operation will be 7:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday.  We will provide breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack.  Activities include:  recreation, swimming lessons, computer clubhouse, arts & crafts, and field trips.  When you give to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Santa Fe/Del Norte you are helping provide this much-needed programming.

We have been providing a safe, educational place for our children to grow for 75 years.  We have lasted this long because generations of people, businesses, government, and volunteers gave their time, money, and other resources to our clubs.  We can be around for another 75 years, but only if you make the same investment as your predecessors.  When you give to the Boys and Girls Clubs you are making an investment in our community.
